Pop-Up Guide
The restaurant pop-up scene has been around for quite some time in Atlanta, but it finally became a big trend in 2018. For those of you who are new to this concept, pop-ups are temporary. They can range from a casual experience at your local coffee shop or a fine dining experience in someone’s basement. The length of a pop-up varies and can take place anywhere, but most pop-ups happen at restaurants or coffee shops that don’t utilize the space during the specific time of day.
In my self-proclaimed foodie opinion, the Atlanta pop-ups have had my favorite bites of food! Yes, you read that correctly, I’ve enjoyed the pop-ups more than actual restaurants in Atlanta. All the chefs have delivered and some are now even opening up their brick-and-mortar restaurants soon.
The best way to keep up with the pop-ups is to follow their Instagram accounts, but you can also check out the ATL Events page. I’ve also highlighted a few pop-ups below that are on my radar for future visits.
