Atlanta Seafood Guide
This guide outlines my favorite places to get seafood in Atlanta, excluding sushi restaurants. But don’t worry, I’ll do a separate guide on sushi.
Everything is organized by my Rating Scale (i.e., likelihood of going back) ranging from Extremely Likely, Likely to Neutral. The goal of this is not to “bash” restaurants, but just to organize which restaurants I am more likely to go back to than others. To the extent possible, I also share dishes that I didn’t like, so that you can get a full picture. The guide also contains helpful information such as:
my favorite bites;
pricing;
parking;
reservation requirements;
seating options;
other seafood spots on my radar; and
weekend hours.
Let me know your favorite seafood spots in the comments section below!

Blazin Cajun Seafood Restaurant: Duluth | I’m not sure if there seafood is good, known for their broils, but I do know they have Mila’s Macarons for dessert, so that’s why I would go.
Bully Boy: Old 4th Ward | This is a newer restaurant on the Beltline, serving a mix of Eastern and Western influenced dishes.
Drift House & Oyster Bar: Marietta | The AJC recently voted them best seafood in Atlanta. They pride themselves on serving sustainable seafood.
Kyma: Buckhead | Kyma is not only a seafood restaurant but a Greek one. In addition to picking your choice of fish, they have delicious Greek/Mediterranean sides which is a nice change to the Southern seafood spots in Atlanta. I’ve been here a few times but it’s been over three years now.
Lure: Midtown | I always drive this place, but haven’t made it in. It’s owned by Fifth Group Restaurants, the same group that owns South City Kitchen.
Noble Fin: Norcross | I went here three years ago and had a great experience. It’s a good place for a nice sit-down meal in Norcross.
Oyster Bay Seafood Cafe: Lawrenceville | They offer “Florida”-styled seafood. Seems like a casual spot for oysters and fried fish with sides.
The Optimist is a great place for a fancy date, a casual lunch with friends, or oyster happy hour.
