ABOUT
@BillysBurgers (aka the NFA Burger) makes my top five list of burgers in Atlanta (don’t ask me for the other four). What makes this burger different than the rest? For me, I think it was the combination of the potato roll with the crispy/seasoned patty. Unlike most burgers, the bun is not warm. In other words, it’s not drenched/toasted in butter, making it easy to eat. The ratio of cheese and pickles is also spot on.
I also liked that Billy walks around asking for feedback. I haven’t seen a lot of people do that. On our second trip for burgers, we thought the meat tasted slightly different…still good but not as great as the first and he welcomed the feedback! Regardless of that, it’s still a very good burger. If I had to compare it to a mainstream burger, it’s probably most similar to a Shake Shack burger, but different, if you know what I mean?
Lastly, I didn’t realize until I was writing this that “NFA” stands for not fooling around, very clever and appropriate.
FAVORITES
Well, there can only be one favorite and that’s the @BillysBurger classic. I can’t handle more than two patties, but if you have the stomach for it, you can add more! I also love the tater tots with the NFA seasoning and sassy sauce.
Some of the pop-ups even have a vegetarian option, usually the Impossible™ Burger.
