Brekkie
ABOUT
I love that we live walking distance from The Spindle Kitchen, because we get to try so many new pop-ups. My brother and I tried out Chef Julia Kesler’s Brekkie pop-up which is a subset of her catering business, Stop Think Chew. Because I can’t say it better myself, straight from her website, the pop-up “is a healthy, local breakfast and lunch pop-up bringing together Mediterranean flavors with a South African twist.”
All the ingredients for the dishes seemed to be sourced locally and tasted that way as well. The Mediterranean spices like za’atar gave the dishes great flavor. I haven’t been to many brunch spots in Atlanta that have the same flavor profile. I’ve seen pop-up announcements for the farmer’s markets at Freedom Park and Grant Park, so check it out!
FAVORITES
I enjoyed both the Middle Eastern & South African Spice plates. My favorite part was probably the beets and hummus from the Middle Eastern plate, everything tasted so fresh.
