ABOUT

Pancake Social is the latest restaurant to open in Ponce City Market by none other than Atlanta restaurateur Anne Quatrano. Pancake floor tiles, pink booths and pancake themed decor make this a very attractive place to dine. But be prepared to wait for an hour if you go on the weekend. Surprisingly, I wasn’t the biggest fan of the pancakes but did enjoy everything else. I would still go back though!

If you don’t want to wait in line you could also order drinks and pastries at their coffee counter. I’m not sure if they offer the entire menu there for carryout.

WHAT TO ORDER

For a party of two, I would recommend (2) drinks (1) pancake order (1) sammie order, and (1) chia seed pudding. My favorite dishes include…

  • Drinks - Fresh Orange Juice & the Berry Smoothie

  • Savory Dishes - Crispy Chicken Sammie & Potato Pancakes

  • Sweet Dishes - Chia Seed Pudding (a must)

They have about 6 - 7 types of pancakes on the menu, and we ordered the buttermilk pancakes. While they were good, I wasn’t blown away and prefer the ones at Bread & Butterfly. The Dutch baby pancakes & the pecan praline are supposedly the crowd favorites. The chia seed pudding is the same one that’s served at Star Provisions and is truly one of my favorite things ever. So don’t skip it.
