Mission + Market recently opened in Buckhead. The restaurant has a ton of natural light, greenery and cool seating options. The service was also excellent. However, I don’t think we ordered well. The sweet dishes were excellent and savory dishes were mediocre. I have to confess though that we attempting to be healthy that day, so we didn’t order a lot of the fried dishes.

Next time, I would likely get the duck hash, the chicken & waffles & the Nutella Tres Leches Bread Pudding for dessert! I also wasn’t happy that the coffee was Nespresso (not a fan, wish they would have sourced something locally). But I will give this place a second chance.

WHAT TO ORDER

For a party of two, I would recommend (1) starter, (2) mains. My favorite dishes included:

Sweet Dishes: Ricotta Donuts & Complimentary Muffins

As I mentioned, I wasn’t a fan of our savory dishes (kale salad and everything spiced pita). The avocado pita did not have enough avocado and the pita wasn’t toasted enough for me. Our friends got the Impossible Burger & the Margherita Pizza which they said were ok but not great. However, some of their other dishes look worth the calories!
