ABOUT

If you love New York City bagels, then this is as close as you will get to it in Atlanta. Run by two #girlboss (es) in East Atlanta Village, Emerald City Bagels even looks like a deli in the City. There are several types of bagels and traditional combinations of flavors (e.g., gravlax and lox) as well as some unique combinations (e.g., chicken parm). I also liked their house-made seltzers and will try the egg cream shakes next time! Seating is really limited and it was super packed when we went, so just be mindful.

FYI: If you don’t want to travel to East Atlanta Village, several coffee shops and cafes also serve Emerald City Bagels like Gather at Grant Park Market & the new Brash Coffee in Midtown.

WHAT TO ORDER

For a party of two, I would recommend (2) beverages, (1-2) bagels (since they are pretty filling). My favorite dishes include…

  • Drinks - Black Cherry Seltzer

  • Savory Dishes - Sesame Bagel & the Gravlax

I wasn’t a fan of the garlic herb cream cheese, but this just really relies on preference.
