ABOUT

Tiny Lou’s, located in Hotel Clermont, is named after the stripper that denied Hitler a dance. But don’t worry brunch is PG-13. I’ve had their brunch three times now, and have had a consistent and delicious experience. The omelette tastes as creamy, cheesy and light as it looks. It’s one of the few places where you can make a reservation and don’t have to worry about brunch lines. Fair warning, you may be able to feel the vibrations from the Clermont Lounge below the restaurant, but it won’t impact your brunch experience.

Hotel Clermont went through a huge renovation and re-opened in 2018. The decor in the restaurant, hotel and rooftop is now definitely #instaworthy. Don’t forget to go to the rooftop, you won’t regret it!

WHAT TO ORDER

For a party of two, I would recommend (1) starter (2) mains. My favorite dishes include…

  • Drinks - Ginger Tarragon Limeade

  • Savory Dishes - Local Farm Egg Omelette

  • Sweet Dishes - Duck Confit and Waffles & the French Toast

The first two times, we really enjoyed the arugula salad, but the third time was just ok, so I wouldn’t order it again. Also, I’m a huge fan of brussel sprouts but the one’s at Tiny Lou’s didn’t hit the spot for me. They were good, just not exceptional, so I probably wouldn’t waste my calories on it.
