Recess is the definition of “healthy-ish”. This is not your typical boring salad concept, it’s so much more. My favorite bowl, the Super Bowl, has dried mango and date slices combined with the best coconut rice + more. Not only is it healthy-ish, but it actually tastes good.

On Saturday & Sunday, they offer a few additional items just for brunch, but all the bowls, salads & toasts can be found on a weekly basis. They are under the ownership of CHG, which owns several places in town, including Recess’s neighbor, Bar Mercado.
