ABOUT

You probably went to 8ARM a few years ago and remember their avocado & crab toast or their take on McDonald’s egg McMuffin, but all of that is gone now and replaced with one of the best meals I have had in Atlanta!

Back in March, 8ARM hired Maricela Vega of the popular Mesoamerican Atlanta pop-up Chicomecóatl. B E S T decision ever! She has gone above and beyond at 8ARM. The menu changes constantly and reflects ingredients that are in season and available locally. This is not your typical brunch. You probably won’t see pancakes, omelets & French toast on this menu but you will experience a grown-up version of brunch with items like salt new potatoes, peach & tomato salad with pistachio creme, gold rice, fancy croissant sandwiches & grown-up yogurt bowls with labneh. I loved the touch of Mesoamerican influences in the dishes. The chili oil is fire!!

This place should be packed with people and a line outside the door, but it hasn’t both times I went to brunch (on back-to-back weekends). I guess it will be my little secret until people finally realize all of its true glory.
