ABOUT

Star Provisions new-ish location (relocated April 2017) is even better than before! Since August of 2018, Nizar and I have been going at least once a month. They have a great variety of items that usually meet all of our brunch cravings. I can’t categorize the food into a certain cuisine but I will say that they have an assortment of pastries, breakfast, & lunch items that play on American, French, Italian & Southern cuisine all with fresh ingredients.

The decor and seating options also make this an attractive place to eat. I love the “upscale” fast-casual nature of the cafe and the availability of fresh pastries, granola, bread and cheese. There is also an assortment of local goods (e.g., home decor, specialty food) throughout the store that can be purchased, like the Chai Box!

The chef and owner, Anne Quatrano, has built a mini-empire of delicious restaurants across town. You can always expect a consistent experience at all of her restaurants.

WHAT TO ORDER

For a party of two, I would recommend (1) beverage, (1) side (1) chia seed pudding, and (1-2) entrees. My favorite dishes include…

  • Drinks & Pastries - Granola (favorite one in town) & Iced Tea

  • Sweet Dishes - Chia Seed Pudding, Brownie & Soft Serve

  • Savory Dishes - Chicken Biscuit, French Omelet Baguette, Brussel Sprouts & Bagels & Lox

The chia seed pudding is the best one we have ever had. I think it’s made with coconut milk, which is why it tastes so creamy. Nizar won’t share with me so we have to get our own on top of everything else we order!
