About: From the Facebook Pages of Old Fourth Ward Business Association & Ponce City Market:
“…announces its 2018 Fourth of July celebration “Fireworks in Fourth Ward.” Free and open to the public, the community event will be held across the street from Ponce City Market at Historic Fourth Ward Park from 5pm to 10pm.
The inaugural festival will offer family-friendly activities, including cornhole, face painting and more. There will also be bites from local vendors and food trucks, King of Pops, and pours from wine tents, Creature Comforts Brewing Co. and Three Taverns Craft Brewery. All beverage proceeds will directly benefit the Old Fourth Ward Business Association whose mission is to create a safe and sustainable community environment for businesses and residents alike.

Ponce City Market restaurants and retail shops will be open during normal hours, from 10am to 9pm, on July 4th.”
Vendors: There will be a lot of local vendors at the event like Academy Coffee who will be serving up their Waddah Melown drink which is my absolute favorite Watermelon drink for the summer, don’t miss it! You can also grab food from across the street at Ponce City Market (check out the event for Pizza Jean’s at Root Baking Co.)
